5 Main Coffee Producing Zones in Yunnan
There are five main coffee producing zones in Yunnan:Pu 'er City,Lincang City,Baoshan City,Dehong Prefecture Xishuangbanna.

Pu'er City
Pu 'er City is Yunnan's largest coffee planting base, coffee planting area has reached 789,000 mu, coffee output of 58,600 tons, the total output value of 2.469 billion yuan. Puer City honored as the "coffee capital of China", coffee has a hundred years of history, the end of the 19th century began to cultivate, industrialized development in 1988, now the city's coffee planting area of 767,000 mu.
Lincang City
Lincang City is located in the golden belt of coffee cultivation in the world, with good climatic conditions and ecological environment. Here, the terrain is complex, the altitude is above 1000 meters, there is no spring, summer, autumn and winter seasons, but it is divided into dry season and rainy season. The rainy season begins in June every year, and it will rain in the next three or four months, and the temperature difference between day and night is large. Lincang coffee production area is mainly Zhenkang County, planting area reached 110,200 mu.
Baoshan City
Baoshan City is considered to be the best place to grow small coffee. Baoshan coffee is mainly concentrated on both sides of the Nujiang Valley, especially in Longyang District, where the planting area reaches 115,800 mu. Locally produced Baoshan small coffee is one of the best coffee quality in China and even in the world, with uniform and full particles, fresh smell, rich aroma and mellow taste.
Dehong Prefecture
The birthplace of coffee in China, the region is 1,000 to 1,600 meters above sea level and covers 2,000 hectares of coffee plantations. What's more, most coffee is grown organically here, making it one of the highest quality coffees in the world
Xishuangbanna
Xishuangbanna is one of the core producing areas of small coffee in Yunnan province. The high-quality geographical and climatic conditions provide good conditions for the growth of coffee. The vast majority of French coffee comes from Yunnan, China, and most of it comes from Xishuangbanna and other producing areas
